Don't buy this product to work with the TiVo Edge Antenna Product!
I hope this isn't a confusing review. The WD My Book AV 1TB may be a great product but it doesn't work with the TiVo Edge Over-The-Air (OTA) Antenna like TiVo technical support said it would. In fact the two USB 3.0 ports on the back of the TiVo Edge are non-functional. So this is more of a review of the TiVo Edge product rather than the WD My Book Drive. The TiVo Box (the two tuner model) is a piece of junk so don't buy this WD Drive for external storage because it will not work!! To be clear, this isn't a short coming of the drive but of the TiVo Box. Because of the cost and the reliability issues I'd advise against buying "anything" from TiVo. To add icing on this cake, TiVos business practices are questionable. THREE technical support reps told me this TiVo model would support external storage which it doesn't. That's beyond mistakes and inefficiency. I'll let you put your own label and that last sentence.
