A Zeppelin Thriller
It is a terrific book, telling the story of an often overlooked aspect of the First World War, when Britain was subjected to the first sustained aerial bombing campaign in history. This book looks in fantastic detail at the first year of that campaign when German Zeppelins were in the ascendancy, making a number of attacks on London and other towns and cities across the country. The story is brough to life by the numerous eye-witness accounts, from those in the air and on the ground - both British and German. This is the first book in the 'Forgotten Blitz' trilogy. Highly recommended.
