Item was a fair price and arrived as described, very quickly and packaged very well to keep it in great condition. Seller was really communicative and flexible figuring out some shipping issues that came up which I’m very appreciative of. I’d definitely I’d buy again. Thank you!

    Mamiya 645AF Electromagnetic Cable Release RE401 #189
    14 September 2019
Manual shutter release cables are too hard to press with Mamiya 645AF bodies - this is better
Works great. There does seem to be about a 1/2 second delay between pressing the button and the shutter firing, but that's not a problem. The shutter release button on the Mamiya 645AF bodies will accept the screw-in, older, manual shutter release cables, but I found that I have to apply a whole lot of pressure with the manual cables to get the shutter to fire, so much so that it will ruin the cheaper cables. This electromagnetic cable is far better. I use a Kirk brand Arca-type L-bracket on the body (the one made for the Nikon D800) with a Kirk base plate on the tripod, and this shutter release plug just clears the base plate when the camera is in the vertical position. Close, but it works. A version of an L-bracket made for a smaller camera might not clear. With the Kirk base plate I use, the tightening knob needs to be put forward toward the lens to get the dark slide in and out at the back. Close, but it works.
Mamiya Zoom AF 55-110mm f/4.5 Autofocus Lens for 645 AF II III AK1072 EXCELLENT
    24 July 2019
Very sharp, sturdy, auto-focus. Too heavy to hand-hold for a long time - use monopod or tripod.
I really think the modern lenses built for the Mamiya 645 AF system, and the Mamiya 6x6 rangefinder camera, are just as sharp as Hasselblad Zeiss lenses, although not quite as contrasty. I have used both for some time. Many portrait photographers think the Zeiss lenses are too harsh for photos of people, and that the Mamiya lenses provide a smoother gradation. This is certainly the subject of ongoing debate. Some of the older Mamiya lenses do not have such good quality, such as the wide-angle 50mm for the RB67, which is terrible. With only very few exceptions, such as the older 60mm for Hassellbad that was discontinued many years ago, all Zeiss lenses can be trusted to be very sharp, while you need to be more careful about the older Mamiya stuff.
