Finding what you need
This was a purchase for the office on a fargo machine that has been discontinued. Having to save money where you can, one is shocked to see this same cartridge being flogged for $100 (on those occassions you can find it).
That being said, the machine itelf turned out to be a bust, but that is not the fault of the cartridge

Not What You REALLY Wanted
Keep in mind that there is actually nothing wrong with the concluding issue of the "Mahoromatic" series; I'm just not happy with it.
Much like the film "Chinatown", it ends in a realistic way, but I don't have to like it. I always disliked the 'Blade Runner' concept of limited life spans for these battle androids and, quite frankly, it the main driving force behind the series.
But, I wanted her to live. I wanted the energy problem to get resolved so she would not have to die (too bad she was blown up in a fiery cataclysm, but that's something else).
Some feel that the real ending of the story was done more as a sop for fans who felt both Mahoro and Suguru were cheated out of a happy life together. The art work is stunning and the actual story line is most compelling. But, it's like liver-and-onions; unless you really like it, it doesn't matter how it is prepared.
I suppose this is a tribute to the writer, that you feel that he was "wrong" in the approach to things.
Still, as far as manga goes, this is not a bad choice and i am glad that I obtained it

Woof!
The climactic battle with Professor Metherius is stunning. Many truths are revealed and courage is discovered, courage that was not thought to be there.
This is also a heartbreaking volume, as we learn that Mahoro is not going to get her full allotment of time left to her, as the beating she absorbed cut deeply into her operating time.
Rare is the character, whether ink-and-paint or flesh-and-blood, that makes you feel unhappy about a situation and the ending pages for the manga do just that.
I will admit that the action in the battle gets a bit hard to follow, but stick with it and it all makes sense. I felt this was worth it to get
