Excellent Quality
This is the first dried goats milk product I have tried so I cannot say how it compares with others. The pack has a clever design (some kind of vent, tricky to describe) which keeps the powder dry, so as long as you don't allow moisture to enter the pack and reseal it carefully, it will stay fresh for quite some time. To ensure a lump free end product, I recommend using a little warm (boiled and allowed to cool) water is used to mix your measured amount of power into a paste then gradually add more water until you get the quantity (and strength) you need. This is whole milk so if you prefer a less rich product, simply add a little more water. It keeps very well in the fridge (ensure you use a sterile container, preferably with a sealed lid); much longer in fact than any cow/wet milk I have purchased. It is a lovely "nearly white" colour and as the molecules of fat in goats milk are smaller than that of cows, the distribution is more even making it idea for baking - your yorkshire puddings will puff up wonderfully. It is of course kinder on the digestive system too. There is little or no "goaty" smell and the taste is quite mild (I used to keep my own goats and flavour can vary from animal to animal). However, the flavour intensifies at higher temperature so when using in tea, for example, I did find the flavour quite prominent, not strong, just noticable. One assumes if an individual dislikes the distinct flavour of goats' milk, they wouldn't purchase the product in the first place. So, an excellent quality product which I would highly recommend.

Delicious, not too salty. Would buy agian.
Tried this in a restaurant and loved it so wanted to cook at home with it. Arrive swiftly and well packed. Pleased to see it will keep 6 months in fridge once opened. No calorie content on jar but google says 35 cal per tablespoon for those who like to know. Texter was shredded not like a paste, flavour quite delicate of shell fish, very pleasant, not very salty at all. Adds a great an interesting flavour.

A lovely light but compelling read.
Another one of Jenny's great reads.
