Solid mount; consider your mounting location.
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a fantastic radar detector mount. The single, large suction cup has the lever type suction which makes it stick well. The piece that clips into the radar is metal and will sustain heavy use. There are only two negatives that may or may not apply to your particular vehicle. If you have the black surrounding on your windshield (the kind with the little dots that feel rough to the touch) it will not stick to the glass on top of them. Additionally, the mount causes the radar detector to stick fairly far from the glass. This mount is best suited to applications where you intend to mount the radar to the glass low on the windshield or in the middle. If you like to mount it close to the top around the rearview mirror, consider another mount.
