Quick delivery in its original box. It does so much that I'm still trying to work how how to use it. Just downloaded a manual for it.

Pioneer DV-757Ai
Possibly not quite the newest tech around, but still a more than capable performer. The picture quality is outstanding, with deep blacks, clear colours, and no artifacts that I have noticed so far - even on the most demanding of scenes. The audio output is remarkable, and more than able to hold its own against most dedicated CD players. Disk compatibility seems to be much improved over earlier models. So far it has accepted everything I could throw at it - including some DVD-RW disks than had my old DV-737 totaly defeated. Construction is solid and inspires confidence, even if the remote is a little more "plasticy" than previous versions. Given that these players can still be found retailing at over £700, the average Ebay sourced one is almost bound to be a bargain!

Loved it. A well visualised homage to the classic movie. Del Torro is suitably tortured with angst, music is well chosen, and Anthony Hopkins obviously relishes his role
