High Quality, Great Looks
I have the Alpha 815 driver, but wasn't crazy about the headcover it comes with. I picked up the prior year's model and love the looks, quality and colors. Good stuff!

Introducing the APEX hammer
1 of 1 found this helpful Fantastic hybrid. Feels as solid as any hybrid I've hit. Can work the ball both ways, high and low. Plenty of distance from a 20 degree with a nice, penetrating ball flight. Stock shaft is responsive, loads well and delivers plenty of power to the ball. Easy to hit from the rough, the fairway or off the tee.
Definitely a more iron-like hybrid (similar to the shape of some of the older Adams and Ping models). Love the matte black finish on the head. Simple, solid and hits like a hammer.
Would love to hit this in a 16 or 17 degree model, but honestly don't have much need for the extra distance as it would start closing in on my 3-metal.

Best Low Loft Hybrid on the Market
Excellent club, well constructed, solid feel and nicely balanced. Great to look at address too. I purchased this club to use on short Par 4s ( 400yds) and it is perfect for that. I average about 255-270 yds off the tee with an average swing speed of between 105-110 mph. Uniflex steel shaft is very nice, feels firm enough for me, but forgiving.
14 degree loft is perfect for producing the low, boring flight I want off the tee. When I hit this solidly, it feels like the club head is a solid block of metal. Great feel. I can also move the ball left or right when I need to. Would recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional club for short par 4s or other situations where low accurate shots are needed.
I've hit this off the deck successfully at both the course and the range and have great confidence in my ability to get the ball up from almost any lie. I really can't say enough good things about this hybrid from Nickent!
