It is a fast moving action and revenge story
Any movie made of the Count of Monte Cristo is entertaining but this one with Richard Chamberlain is the superior one in my opinion. My mother read the abridged version of the book to my brother and I when we were youngsters in the 1940s. We love the story in any form.
