Holds it's own with the modern 1650 Super. Superb value card

Very great budget card for those focused more on gaming performance. Bought for my brother's rig, as he wanted a low-budget gaming machine. Compared to my 1650 Super, performs just as well in most games and some benchmarks. Notably surpasses the 1650S in GTAV and Solidworks. 4GB of GDDR6 and 6GB of GDDR5 can throw punches all day. Where you might miss out on the 1060 and get with the 1650 is newer stuff like a more modern NVENC encoder and more performance in applications where memory speed is important. The Gigabyte variant of this card is also very nice, taking up a true 2 slots (not 2.4 like my own GPU) and is very quiet (same can not be said of my 1650S).

Great value card, loud design.

This card can handle way more than you’d think: it can run games at 1080, it can render 4K timelines, and it can handle some decent assemblies in Solidworks. Does all that I need it to do. Only complaint is that the fans are pretty loud. I’ve had many other GPUs in the system that boot up quieter than this thing.
