Carousel Horses in Cross Stitch
A hard to find collection of carousel horses by Linda Gillum, this book includes 12 horses, one for each month of the year. A partial collection of 6 of these was published in softcover booket form by Leisure Arts under the title Holiday Horses. That title is current and can still be purchased (check Kooler Design Studios for Holiday Horses). The hard cover edition Carousel Horses in Cross Stitch is the only source of the full set of 12 horses designed by Linda Gillum, to my knowledge. This full collection includes a Southwestern style Pinto bucking horse; a circus Zebra carousel horse; a wedding horse for June that can be personalized; a baby design Carousel horse with teddy bears and toy train that can be personalized with baby's name and date of birth; a winter Unicorn carousel horse. A number of smaller projects are included in each section that coordinate with and compliment the monthly theme for the carousel horse. Ms. Gillum's work is always beautiful, these carousel horses are no exception.
