outstanding HT receiver
2 of 2 found this helpful Onkyo has always made very good home theater receivers. The TX SR603X is no exception. It is a few years old, so it does not include HDMI switching. The upconversion of composite and s-video to component video is great - i'm only using one input on my tv now, and everything looks better.
sound is awesome, this receiver has a multitude of adjustments, including individual 5 band eq's for each channel.
the remote is good for controlling most gear, not much luck with a Dish DVR yet, no big deal.
very well made, you can't go wrong with Onkyo.
