Decreases performance

Suffered reduced acceleration and bad shifting after installing. Using a homemade housing with the same aftermarket intake setup worked better. Even ripped off the air straightener to see if that caused the issues, but still same sluggish performance. I then put oem airbox and piping back on and all issues were resolved. Don’t know exactly why this is happening.
