VUPLEX - Plastic Cleaner and Anti-Static Polish - 200g (235ml) - FREE P&P

Disappointing

I have a turntable that has very light swirl marks through years of cleaning. Read the reviews on this product and, in the main, they seemed encouraging. For a bottle of spray cleaner / Polish, it isn't cheap, so I assumed it would be a good purchase. I have used the spray with a brand new good quality micro fibre cloth, cleaned and polished the turntable lid probably a dozen times now. It has given the lid a bit of a shine but it has made no difference whatsoever to the swirl marks. To compare, I cleaned and polished another piece of hifi equipment with similar swirl marks with ordinary furniture Polish costing one third. The results were exactly the same. A bit of a shine and a pleasant smell, but no change to the surface. Clearly this product has worked for some, but for me it hasn't.
