Excellent product but not for everyone
First off, I can see why some customers have a negative response to this item. The sound does not blare like older 5.1 systems. In some cases the sound could be described as faint, but that's because the unit is not strictly there to emit stereo sound in unison with the front units. The responsibility of the rear speakers in this case is to add depth and culture to an overall soundscape. The SWA-9500S kit picks up nuances of sound rather than all sounds. To this end, something like 'The Substance' will blow your mind, but a courtroom drama will be very underwhelming. All in all, If you download the Samsung smartthings app and tinker about with the settings, you will be rewarded.

smaller than expected but still good product
As I have indicated in my review heading the actual item is not much bigger than the jpeg attached to the product advert. Nonetheless, the product is fit for purpose.
