Attractive loco with poor mechanics.
This loco has a loud clattering noise which, after several attempts at location of the problem,
persists. Unlike many products this does not have dismantling instructions for the wheels on its accompanying
parts sheet. Therefore the problem is possibly with the "idling" gear. The loco is well lubricated.
The flat steel springs on the front truck have partially collapsed and do not keep the loco stable.
One of the truck sideplates is distorted.
