Working Wooden Toys
1 of 1 found this helpful I tend to buy several books of the same title, one to collect, one to use as a working book, and I continue to upgrade the books as better condition ones are available on eBay. I am not suggesting that you do the same, but I love to sit by the fireplace on a cold Winter's night and look through my collection. "Working Wooden Toys" by Marion Millett is a delight to read and use as a pattern for several unusual old time toys. I paticularly like her Balancing Toys, they are easy to make and will get your mind racing to develop your own style of toys.
Not only will you be thrilled with what you produce, your children and grandchildren will think you are very special to have made these clever items from simple pieces of wood.
An excellent book to own and can readily be found on eBay ... good bidding !!!

Your children and grandchildren will love the items you produce ... even if they are not perfect at first attempt. You will take great pride in their conception.

Digitizing Made Easy by John Deer
4 of 6 found this helpful This book is a basic introduction to digitizing for all of us who seek more information before buying expensive digitizing software for embroidery. It is easy reading, and contains simple explanations and multiple photos for verious techniques. The CD is a great additional bonus to this excellent book.
A definite must have. I was reading it in my doctors office and a woman tried to buy it from me. I sent her to eBay with a chuckle.
