A winner
This book is full of detailed, vegetable by vegetable, directions on how best to preserve it in root/vegetable storage. Some more complex directions include using tomatoes and the like, but for me learning the precise way of storing each vegetable for a root celler is an absolute winner. This book gives you knowledge not only for hard financial times but for storing and preserving; as well as living simply with healthy cooking. at all times.
