Taromaru review for Sega Saturn
1 of 1 found this helpful This is one incredible game that really pushes the processing power of the Sega Saturn. The graphics are beautiful and the action is non-stop (it's quite the button masher). It's kind of like a hybrid of Shinobi and Castlevania and the 2-player simultaneous gameplay is a real plus. This game is not cheap by any stretch but if you find a good deal on it, you won't be disppointed. This is an absolute collector's dream. You will not find a rarer game outside of possibly Hyperduel or the U.S. release of Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Nekketsu Oyako Review
This game takes me back to the good old days of 16-bit beat-em ups which, let's be honest, are are dying breed if not completely extinct. If you like Final Fight or Streets of Rage, this game is definitely for you. In fact, it is so similar to Final Fight that I am surprised the same development team at Capcom did not have a hand in making it. One thing I love about this game is that there are NOT unlimited continues which adds a lot to the replay value (sorry Dungeons & Dragons). The items and weapons that you can pick up are pretty cool. For example, you can pick up a bazooka, a hand grenade, a boomerang buzz saw, and even a Sega Saturn! There is also a bottle of beer but only the adult character is allowed to drink it which is kind of a neat twist. Overall, if you can pony up the ridiculous amount of cash that this game goes for, it is a real gem in my opinion for a genre that hasn't been relevant in nearly 2 decades.

Sega Saturn Rocks
2 of 2 found this helpful For those who aren't familiar with the Sega Saturn, this is one of the most underrated game systems of all time. Many of the games are exclusive only to this system and you will not find emulations (e.g. Panzer Dragoon Saga) because of its complicated hardware. Make sure to pick up a cartridge that enables you to play Japanese games because some of the very best games were only released in Japan (Radiant Silvergun). If you are a fan of 2d fighters (Marvel vs Street Fighter) and shmups (Cotton Boomerang) and you have the Sega arcade stick, there is no better system on the planet.
