Really Nice Headlight Assembly At A Great Price Point

Light assembly came well packaged with no damage. Very high quality fit and finish--looks identical to the original. While there are no instructions, install was straightforward thanks to a couple of on line videos. Yes the bumper needs to come off but don't let that intimidate. Also helpful to note the position of the high and low beams against a wall or flat surface (we used tape to mark), as you may need to aim the new light as we did (Silver 8mm bolt in the back center raises and lowers). You may want to have some spare bumper clips handy as they tend to break, plus new ones install much easier in the tighter areas. Several sizes are used with Subaru bumpers. There are online aftermarket assortment packs fairly cheap that come with a puller tool. One thing we found is the order of installing the four headlight attachment bolts seems important. The first fit check when installing the side then the lower bolts, the top bolt hole was significantly off. Starting with the top bolt first loosely placed solved the issue and all the other bolts then lined up perfectly. The three bulb connectors took a bit of study to see how they latched and it took a bit of jiggling to loosen. Post install fit and body alignment was perfect. A quick re-aim was needed. All is working well with no electrical issues, and the fact all new bulbs are already installed is great. An hour and a half of time total (I'm slow!) and back in business with a moisture free clear light. All in all a great value on a quality product!
