Plug and Play, good range

For a change, I did read the instructions, however, this modem was plug and play. We already had Comcast service, cable/internet/phone. I did not need to call Comcast once for help, YAY! This unit serves a large house and basement (I do use an extender there) and also has good range for the outside spaces. Speeds seem to be fine but I have not checked.
