A few people are able to own this laptop. Im honoured to be one of the them
Ever since the first Series 9 model was released, I fell in love with it (4 years ago). However at the time was unable to get it.
4 years later I was in the position and need to purchase this laptop and oh boy was the patience worth it.
This laptop has it all and during my researching against other laptops this claims the top with design and quality. Despite the laptop (in some reviewers cases) was odd with having a Toshiba SSD fitted instead of Samsung's own famous ones, and that the laptop was somehow considered less spec then the famous MacBook Air, it really didn't make all the difference.
My only issue with it (along with nearly everyone) is taking the benefit of the super resolution screen (3200x1800). The resolution is more than 2 times more than Full HD (1920x1080) and it is because of this and some not properly designed software that the display shows everything very small and although I am managing with it, its good to note for future buyers that you need to have healthy eyes if you ever instead on using the full resolution ability. Lucky however we can set the resolution to full HD and then everything seems to be normal. With the release of 8.1 (and the future Windows 10 in development) I believe that this resolution problem will be overcome in time.
The keyboard and mouse is of top quality and because I type pretty quickly (80-90 wpm) I feel that the keyboard more than satisfies my typing needs. The trackpad is no different and I must say I have never seen a WINDOWS laptop ever give such detail and thought to the trackpad.
