Funny little coffee maker
I have the ‘3’ cup Moka Express. Just so everyone is clear, the largest amount of water I can put into mine is barely over 1/2 cup. So...not sure where the ‘3 cup’ comes from in the description, maybe for espresso cups (why 4 stars instead of 5)? There is some debate on YouTube (when I watched on how to use this item) as to whether it is an ‘espresso’ maker or just an ‘express’ maker. So...you can judge. It is fun to watch it percolate out of the top spout (gotta close it when it gets close the end so it doesn’t spit all over the place). Although, I did have to learn to keep the grinds very fine (larger ones clogged the strainer and then the thing overheated and my handle fell off)...lesson learned. It makes a strong cup of coffee, so I add a little bit of water to the final product (plus creamer...eek!). There is really no guesswork at all in the preparation, in that, you always have to fill the water full and the coffee strainer full...no half or partial cups.
