Re-read after 30 years!
Travelling in Greece as a 17 year old, this book was my companion. It made a huge impact then and I continued reading all four afterwards. Jean M Auel gives a hugely unique, imaginative and informed story full of wonderful characters which I felt, allowed you to really connect with each one on so many levels. So having just finished 'Clan of the Cave Bear yet again, I can't recommend it enough. The book did not dissapoint me at all and I looked forward to sitting down and enjoying the story without criticism. There will be some people who hold knowledge of the time she describes and while they may have comments on what is thought to be appropriate or considered correct at that time in history, I urge you to forget all of that and enjoy the adventure! Here's to my 'Clan of the Cave Bear' re-read 1987-20017 ✨

Fit flops fit for the beach!
I love these fit flops as they are comfy on long beach walks and a nice design. I have narrow feet so they fit well, plus you can wear them in the water and they stay in good condition and feel strong. These came up smaller than my other size 6 though hence the four stars. Would love a pair in turquoise and a few other colours! Highly recommend.
