Best purchase in a while
1 of 1 found this helpful We haven't had cable TV for years and have been using an Apple TV 3 and an older version 2. The New Apple TV is really incredible. It sets itself up in seconds by pulling the settings from an iPhone or iPad. The graphics are beautiful and the interface is lightening fast. The new remote has touch sensor ala-first-gen-iPod-wheel, built-in Siri, accelerometer and gyros all ingeniously implemented by Apple to make you feel like it is a natural extension of your hand. It's all Bluetooth to boot so you don't have to raise your arm to point the thing trying to get the right angle.Voice control works flawlessly for YouTube searches, finding new apps or finding content. Oh yeah... Apps! You can install thousands of great Apps designed specifically for Apple TV. Some Apps you already use on your iPhone have Apple TV versions or extensions at no extra cost. Bottom line, this is a great purchase and a great value. Refurb is the way to go but do spend the extra on the 64GB model.
