DA GREEN 'UNS IS DA BEST AN' ORCS IS DA GREEN'ST OF M ALL!!!!
I love orcs. Orcs are my favorite to paint, play, and customize. Games Workshop gets its flack from time to time but I love all of the extra customizable bits that go into every box...Orcs, or otherwise.
My only complaints would be that it doesn't include the option to make them archers like the savage orcs kit does, but it's a small complaint.
The kit used to have 19 to 20 orc boys in it (currently 10) but it also used to be 10 to 15 dollars more expensive but that was still like getting 3-6 orc boys free. And that's also a pretty small complaint.
This is a really great kit to get if like me you're into making your own custom made orc terrain and scenery pieces because it comes with so many extra bits including spikes, skulls, two banner options, and extra weapons, arms and heads.
They aren't painted but I personally prefer to paint them myself.
Don't get me wrong, it's a moderately expensive hobby for a fairly complicated game (less so for the age of sigmar rules). But I find it easy to assemble, easy to customize and an overall relaxing and creatively rewarding hobby given some time and patience.
I recommend having a pair of flush cutters (wire cutters), an x-acto knife, and regular super glue (the generic target/Walgreens/CVS cheap stuff is perfectly fine) before assembling because you'll want to clip off the little nubs of plastic (or flash) from the pieces when you remove them from the frames (or sprues) so they fit together well before glueing them together.
I also recommend getting spray primer in whatever base color you prefer and spraying the pieces while they're still on the sprues before taking the bits off and assembling them.
It's still a pretty good value proposition as far as I'm concerned having been doing miniatures including games workshop since 1997.
I'd give this kit a 9 out of 10 only because of the previously mentioned "issues."
Highly recommended!!!

Everyone deserves a Chaos Hellcanon
You deserve a Chaos Hellcanon. You know this to be true. Your boss, your parents, your friends, your lover... maybe they don’t think you do. BUT THEY ARE WRONG. YOU DO DESERVE A CHAOS HELLCANON. And they deserve one too, even if they don’t know it. It comes with three chaos dwarves that operate and maintain the Hellcanon, and those dwarves accept you... the REAL YOU. Not the you that you put on to go to work or family gatherings, no. The you that longs for the day you can unleash hell upon Middenland, or crumble the walls of Karak Kadrin, or see the Ironclaw Tribe decimated by molten death from above. Whatever your target, these boys have you covered. Be accepted, be happy, be powerful... and most of all... LIVE YOUR TRUTH.
