Good battery for a faulty device
The old ipod battery became a balloon and needed to be replaced. The new battery works well. The battery was soldered at three contacts. I also bought solder iron, etc to work on it myself. Apple's design is bad as usual.

I replaced a jack that had bad contacts. It worked much better.

Good compatibility
I paired it with another dimm of a different model for dual channel mem. I set the speed to 2666MHz, and it worked without an issue. The memory was tested using memtest86.
