Does not clamp well enough
This seatpost clamp doesn't clamp the seatpost tight enough with the effort required to close it. You have to use a wrench to tighten the screw, as though the quick release weren't there, and then the quick release is too stiff to open reasonably.
There aren't many 30mm clamps on the market, but there are still some that are better than this and sometimes at lower price.

Good concept, very undersized
1 of 2 found this helpful The FatBNimble is an excellent tread design, maximizing traction, speed, and turning control. And also available in light weight versions that rival smaller tires.
Their consistent drawback is that they are notoriously undersized. I have the 26x4 and this 29x3 is in the same category. 2.6 on a 42mm rim, so maybe 2.8 on a 50mm. This tire barely fits the rear of my 29er Diamondback Overdrive, and fits the fork with room to spare. Too small to make the most of a real plus pike, and stay tuned for Schwalbe tires in 29x2.6 if you want to max out a regular 29er. Or look into 27.5+. But for this MacGuyver, it worked. For now.
