Nice light when it works BUT it's a total ripoff cause they don't last long!

Pentair only comes with a ONE YEAR warranty and it's only good if you have a licensed installer install it, adding another few hundred dollars to the yet overpriced unit. So I choose to install mine myself. It's really simple if you are handy BUT - like I said it voids ANY warranty. WTF? why? Regardless - I did like the light WHEN it worked although the REDS and GREENS are simply AWFUL! Before you purchase - you might try and see how pentair will treat you by calling them - trust me - you won't get through to ANYONE and even thought they say leave your number and they'll call you back - I have YET to get a callback. I'm sorry but for all this money - I demand to be treated better! I'm buying a J&J ColorSPlash light that comes with a THREE YEAR WARRANTY, made in the USA in California AND it looks so much better! My Pentair DID actually last 2 years, BUT - it was used very little and only in the summer. For $600 - I would expect it to last a whole lot longer!

Not your 80's Mousse here!
Great stuff that doesn't feel heavy or gross. Light and airy and super strong!
