If you are planning a trip to Alaska, go to Denali and be prepared, stock up on all of Tom Walker's books. You won't miss much when you know what it took to create the place. The people, the legends and all the little details.
"Kantishna", "McKinley Station" and "The Seventymile Kid" can't be beat for Denali history and adventure.
