Genuine Sony RMT-D197P Remote Control For DVD Player

Don't buy Sony anymore.

The play and stop and pause buttons are not recognised by the DVD player, although it wasn't a battery issue, as the chapter jump button did work after I pressed the player's own play button instead of the remote. Sony used to make blank recording media and stopped. They used to make reliable DVD players and now I get stuck with this piece of malfunctioning junk less than a year after I bought it. Don't buy Sony anymore.
