The God-kind of Faith
Dr Charles S. Price gives a solid insight into the God-kind of Faith.
He describes Faith as one of either two things:
1)Faith as a Gift
2)Faith as a Fruit of the Holy Spirit
On the first point, I agree with Dr Price.
On the second point, I believe that while Faith is also a Fruit, it is a Fruit of the Born Again Believer....that is, the New Creation in Christ Jesus!
When Galatians 5 is read in context, it is clear that the Apostle Paul is pointing out the contrast between Works of the Fleshly Soul, in opposition to the Fruit which is produced by our born-again spirit, living righteous and godly and holy lives in Jesus Christ!
