Brass vs. Steel

Brass worked very well on my bass with roasted swamp ash body and Paduk neck with ebony fretboard. Something was missing on my roasted swamp ash with bubinga neck with pao ferro fretboard (both basses are fretless). The steel saddles added that little something extra to give the bass somewhat more clarity and definition.
