Vandenberg : Heading For A Storm

This is the second album from 80's rock legends Vandenberg . This album has stronger material than the debut. Adrian Vandenberg shows his amazing ability to write songs and solos that are both unique and exspressive . Vocalist Bert Herink has a great voice for straight ahead arena rock as well as ballads as evident on the ballad "Different Worlds" . The music transcends from cassette or vinyl to compact disc quite nicely . If you use to have this album and have longed to hear it again ,go ahead, indulge yourself you won' regret it. I know I didn't. I only wish I would have bought it sooner. Some bonus tracks would have been nice tho....

This is Vandenbergs third album released in 1985 .

Vandenberg was one of my favorite bands back in the late 8o's and for alot of good reasons. Adrian is a unique guitarist with style taste and great command over his instrument. As a band Vandenberg wrote catchy melodic rock songs with hooks,big chorus',great production all while maintaining a live feel to the disc. If you never had this cd but loved earlier Vandenberg releases then by all means get this one. My only complaint is where are the bonus tracks ? If you did have this release on vinyl or cassette dont worry this cd sounds great.
