Not Impressed: As a Replacement, fits ok, but poor suction

I bought as a replacement for a genuine Dyson floor head that had broken. This non-Dyson replacement fits fine, and the quality seems ok. However, this unit has greatly inferior suction. The intake slot in the head (where the suction pressure is) is poorly engineered and is much smaller than on the genuine Dyson head. The small intake means less suction, which in turn means it won't pick up dirt and dust as well. This is why I do not recommend.
