Nice kit and a good starting place for spinners.
Kit is as expected from the description. A nice simple spindle, no rough edges; a decent amount of roving to spin, and nicely packaged.
Apparently the intsructions were a little hard to follow so the recipient found a youtube video to use instead and has made a good start.
Seems like a decent kit for beginners.

Arrived broken but good product.
This arrived broken, two of the tabs that hold the blade snapped off. I had to remove the blade and glue them back with gorilla glue and wait 24 hours before installing the blade, however it's now on and works perfectly. Apart from what was probably a packing/handling issue, the product is good quality.
It does fit my Toyota Alphard despite certain other online suppliers claiming it wouldn't.

Not as pictured.
The cloak in the picture looks lined; the actual cloak is very thin unlined velvet, thin enough to easily see through, and it doesn't quite meet in front when my 10-year-old wears it. She likes it, though.
