Another software product that requires a better manual

I am into day two of trying to get this "super program" to work. It is release 5 - and that should have been a warning. First, I downloaded the 83 page manual that is not included in the package and printed it out. I hooked up the vcr to an unused laptop, installed the software and the usual. The first two efforts to copy a new vhs tape were unsuccessful. Ok. End of first day. Call the support and learn that (undisclosed in the literature, of course), if you have an AMD chip, you have to download a software fix. Have downloaded the software fix. Managed to move the vhs tape into the computer (reportedly) before the DVD 5.0 Deluxe failed. Now making my second effort to copy from vhs to dvd today. The manual does not state that you must manually stop the recording after the vhs tape ejects - so that was my second call! Finally, success. Another software product that requires a better manual.

Good concept; not great execution

You want a visor to come down and then when you put it back up, to stay up. This unit does not stay up. So, I had to go to the hardware store and spend another $6 for a couple of velcro straps. This means, of course, that you will not casually flip it down and up when you drive.
