Good choice
3 of 3 found this helpful Consew is a trustworthy company- I had a chance in the past to use their walking foot machine. We ordered our skiving Consew DCS-S4 factory-new, in boxes and had the privilege of free shipping for this very heavy tool. The Instruction booklet was enough for me and my husband to put the machine together.
It works perfectly, like classic Fortuna skiving machine I have used many years ago. The servo motor is very quiet , the machine's parts are solid metal and there is a super cute led lamp with magnet. Be aware (for amateur technicians like me and my husband) that there is a button at the back of the motor
to change direction of how it runs. In other words if you feel that machine is pushing backward when you try to skive , change the motor direction with the button mentioned.
We recommend this machine to everyone who is looking for new and solid skiver. For me this is the best purchase made for the last year.
