It just works
It works great! You need to make sure to update the drivers before your controller will connect, but I've had no problems since then.

It works!
I bought the HTS3306/F7C at a thrift store, but unfortunately, it needs the remote to use all the features.
This remote works, and allows me to do everything my blu-ray player is meant to do.

Sure beats standing to turn the volume up
This remote is practically a necessity for someone who owns a PHILIPS HTS3566D/37B, and connects it to a TV with non -variable volume output. It is very annoying having to walk 15 feet just to turn the volume up, or change the radio station you are listening to, especially when people are in the way, or you have to block someone's view of the TV. Also, the input shortcut buttons at the top are a lot easier to use than pressing the source button on the PHILIPS HTS3566D/37B. The mute button is also great if you decide to switch from an input to the FM Radio, which is way louder than any other input source, and almost caused physical pain to me and my former roommate, when I switched to it with the volume on 25 (out of 40). Oh, by the way, the PHILIPS HTS3566D/37B System gets crazy loud and awesome if you connect it to half-descent speakers. I want to turn it all the way up one of these days, but don't want my neighbors to hate me too much.
