What a Difference!
I won this DSL router to replace a Netgear model that was constantly needing a reboot and had decided not to allow me to access some of my favorite web sites.
As soon as the AT&T rep helped me get it up and running, the Pace 4111N began performing lightening fast compared to the Netgear, and the trouble I had with accessing web sites was gone. The Pace is also providing a stronger wireless signal, usually all bars on my indicator. The Netgear never gave me all bars. If you have DSL with AT&T, this router is the one for you.
The only improvement I would make is to provide an on/off switch, but it's not a big deal.

Revived My Dead KCM Coffee Mill
I have a vintage KitchenAid/Hobart model KCM coffee mill that stopped dead one morning. Something was rattling inside but even though I'm mechanically inclined, I was unsure of how to gain access to the motor and grinding assembly.
This repair manual described the process, I was able to locate the problem and make the repair without buying any parts, followed instructions to adjust the burrs to their original specs after reassembling, and now the grinder operates better than before and more quietly.
The illustrations aren't the best quality, but I know that this was the case with the originals as well.
Used model KCM coffee mills that aren't in as good of condition as mine can be found listed here for triple the price of this manual, on average. In that respect, my purchase of this item was a real bargain.

Excellent Hack For Bonavita Coffeemaker Owners
Chemex is usually equated with the hand pour-over method of brewing coffee, but they do offer an automatic coffeemaker. The trouble is, it's way overpriced.
I bought a Bonavita coffeemaker instead, which is highly rated for its brew quality. I had seen a picture of this machine paired with a Chemex carafe, so decided to put together my own version of the pricey Chemex Otto.
I'm very pleased with this upgrade. The most annoying thing about the Bonavita system is that the filter basket must be removed (and preferably rinsed out) before serving. This four-step process (remove basket assembly, dispose of filter, rinse basket, place cap on carafe) seemed clunky compared to the Cuisinart I had before, which brewed with the carafe lid in place and filter basket integrated into the machine instead of perched on top of the carafe.
The Chemex carafe was the perfect solution. Now I simply dump the filter and pour my coffee. The glass handle (instead of the wood collar) allows the carafe to go through the dishwasher. I also bought the glass lid to keep the remaining brew covered while on the Bonavita's hot plate.
If you intend to use this carafe with a Bonavita or other type that will accommodate it, be sure to purchase the Chemex filters with the rounded top. The standard type are only good for pour-over brewing and will be frustrating to use with any automatic brewer besides a Chemex.
