I make teddy bears and soft toys, all hand sewn, memory bears and bear and soft toy repairs.
Most of the items I make are donated for raffles etc to raise money for not for profit groups. I also work with refugee women teaching them how to sew.

Books and bears are a major part of my life now.

I have been making teddy bears for a number of years now after I was diagnosed with ME/CFS. I was always on the go with work,grandchildren and volunteer work. So when I was diagnosed it was like going from go to stop and having to try to get started again. I was given a copy of a pattern and a piece of fur and as they say the rest is history. I am always on the lookout for new ideas on bear making. I have been able to pass on my skills to friends and some of them are now making there own bears for family and friends. I have always been an avid book collector so now my bear book collection has really grown. Even in this world of technology you cannot beat having a book which you can have access any time.

Excellent for those wishing to make their own soft toys

Anyone wishing to construct their own patterns and produce their own soft toys this is the book for you. Step by step instructions are easy to comprehend. Excellent book overall. In immaculate condition.

If I can do it than anyone can.

I thought at my age that I would not be able to learn another language. But I thought I would give it a go as I will be travelling to China later this year. My only hope would be something for Dummies.Slowly but with great persistence I am slowly learning one or two words that I can remember. I can honestly say there is nothing I dislike about the product. I really like how each word or phrase is spoken in a way that it easily understood and the time given for you to pronounce each word is sufficient. You are not expected to rush through it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wishing to learn a new language. I have not tried other products but I believe that maybe in the future I may buy other products from this range.
