This is a really nice little car with a lot of detail.

TDOH 1/25 Scale General Lee Kit # MPC 817/12
This is a nice little model kit. Nicer than I expected and nicer than the glue together kit I bought. None of the pieces fit on the glue together version. This Model car has the correct stickers and decals including the license plates which the glue version did not have. If you're looking for the glue or snap version with the correct decals and can't find them then contact Cooter's place. They have tons of them as well as Rosco's police car model kits. I think they had a 1/16th General Lee as well.
For a little display car this is pretty nice and I'm glad it got it.

The real Knight Rider Model Car
I was conflicted about buying this as is it just a toy and seemed a bit pricey. However the model car was factory sealed and I haven't seen it store's since 1989. I'm glad I got it. I also purchased the MPC round 2 silver screens edition. I compared the two side by side.
If you are a huge fan of the TV Show then find the original 1980's model like I did. If you want a nice display Knight Rider Car then get the Silver Screens version or the aoshima version is also not bad.
The good with the silver screens version is you get decals, two sets of glass- clear and smoked- its almost the exact same model kit as the original. The not so good with the silver screen edition is the tail lamp panel is not a flat red, it has the lines and grid pattern for the GTA Trans Am. Also it does not have the fender vents at the bottom. The interior is also from the GTA Model which means the center console and door panels are wrong. If you are like me and want the model to be 100% accurate then get the 1980's version. If you can live with or don't care about the little quirks with the minor details then get the silver screen edition.
