Works but quality could be better
They are convenient and easy to place and I think they will perform OK in the long run but the little plastic extension that allows you to grasp the flap to open it is already breaking. You can still open it but its annoying. Also: be sure to watch You Tube video on their placement.

Regulator-rectifier
I have a 1983 90 horse Johnson that was over charging. I checked out the reasons why that might be true and could not find a good cause. I made sure that all contacts were clean and tight and installed this device. it worked. I get a steady 14 volts above 1000 RPM's.I haven't had it in use for very long ( 2 hours) but so far so good. Easy to install.Good directions.
