Bill Evans - Moonbeams
This CD is one of the first recordings that Bill Evans made when he returned to the jazz music scene after the death of his bassist Scott Lefaro. It is such a good album, played so well by the new trio which now included Chuck Israels as bassist. Enough material was recorded for two albums, Moonbeams being one of them.
Moonbeams is some of Evan's best work. The liner notes on the CD says it all.
If you like good jazz and if you like Bill Evan's playing, you will love this CD.

The name says it all.
Great album by perhaps the best jazz pianist ever, and the best jazz saxophonist. "But Beautiful" is a wonderful song written by Jimmy Van Heusen with lyrics by Johnny Burke and covered by just about everyone.
