Might help, might not

no real complaints
Hat is very cheaply made compared to others I've had but that is probably what I should have expected for what I paid for it. It does cover your head so I guess no real complaints.

Not a precision tool
Does not read the same as the one I have made in the States but it gives a fair assessment I guess that is close enough for what you should be using it for. Not a precision tool.
