Pioneer's Pinnacle in Cassette Deck Engineering
This deck sounds absolutely awesome and is an audiophile's dream cassette deck. It is a beautiful deck coming from the golden hi-fi era representing the pinnacle of 1978 Pioneer cassette recorder engineering. Pioneer's CT-F1000 is a truly high end cassette deck built in an all metal chassis, with a trick brushed aluminum faceplate panel. It features multiple bias and equalization settings, pitch control, memory stop, a MPX filter, tape, analog VU metering, a 4,000 HZ oscillator, auto stop, a solenoid transport and more. Exceptional playback and recording results are achieved with the CT-F1000's precision heads. The heads are manufactured from a single Ferrite crystal and rival the world's best reel to reel decks. Wow and flutter is inaudible.

Excellent Three Head Cassette Deck Value
The deck makes recordings when using Dolby C that are so close to the record or CD, so good that, in fact, my old 58 year old ears can no longer tell the difference. Onkyo decks are known among audiophiles as a great analog value, very reliable and capable of incredible musical fidelity. This was quite an expensive deck back in the day. Anything under $200 for a clean orginal 100% functioning deck or newly restored deck is a true bargain.
