Triggered my smoke alarm
I'm not sure if it comes from the gun itself or the screen I was using it on, but it triggered my smoke alarm... I since used it outside. It could have been the "new" smell/(invisible) smoke causing that.
No big deal to me, but wanted to mention it.
The gun itself is good otherwise.

Gel melted after 1 year
The build is sturdy, but the installation is not easy. You need to press really hard to get the suction cup working efficiently. Otherwise it "wobble" a bit, which is annoying.
After ~1 year of usage (always on the windshield), the gel melted on the screen, leaving a dirty skid-mark on the glass. I'm still trying to remove it as we speak.
The phone holder itself works well. I easily put my 6.5" phone is it, have it connected to the charger and drive relatively long distances with it.

Fit in the pocket and available all the time.
This works great with my S8+.
