Too Deep
This driver is good if you put a plug in it. The threads inside only go half the distance and the rest is just hollow. If the hole your hanger bolt is going in is not loose it will strip the threads on your hanger bolt. I used a little ca glue and glued a little metal dowel inside.

Perfect
I use this for all of my larger boxes and it's great. It saves me a lot of tape and time.
I tied some shrink wrap around the inside of the spool to keep it all from falling off. I'll probably build a holder for it to make it faster to roll out.
Very helpful if you build custom boxes for your shipped items like I do.

Best Insert Made
0 of 1 found this helpful I'm a furniture maker and use these inserts in walnut cleats often. I use a 9/16" forstner bit instead of the recommended 1/2"and they still fit very tight but install nicely. Using a 1/2" bit caused a lot of chipping and tear out of the surface, even with a chamfer. The 9/16" bit is absolutely perfect for me in hardwoods.
I use my drill press to install the inserts with the ez lock insert driver or a 5/16 all thread. The driver is a great tool to have on hand and I recommend getting one.
