Perfect flex player for a beginner, unbeatable price
Great starting Lens, but F3.5 is fairly limiting for indoor and evening photography. I have a Sigma 30mm f1.4 I use for dim/ indoor shooting, but in most other cases, and most video cases, I'm glad to have the flexibility of this on my a6000, especially for it's tiny size, it's a perfect flex player.
at like $100 it's like stealing a swiss army knife.

Understated, Over-capable, HUGE value.
In the ocean of plastic trash called PC Speakers, where all claims are exaggerated and quality of the claim is dubious at best. THESE ROCK, they have modest, but capable specs, the sub delivers punchy bass suffice to ensure Metal, Techno, and Hip hop music all sound correct, and you can even jam on them a bit.
I'm spoiled by professional equipment, but these are my choice for my personal desk, they're no studio reference speakers, but are perfect to use generally, perfect to turn up and bump a bit, they will not distort 1/3 up the volume slider like so many others.
Only criticisms are:
I planned to use this with a switched outlet, but the unit does not power up when it receives power, it needs to also be turned on via "stand-by" button, like a TV. Disappointing since I expected this behavior, like the next model down (currently own), but it is not a problem.
also, if you turn the device off (not stand-by) it does not remember your source selection.
but this is all I've been able to come up with for negatives.
If you're on the fence with the price, DO IT! you'll love them for years to come.

Better value than the 16mm, I love mine!
Excellent Lens! I can't say much every youtuber that brought you here hasn't, except that it leaves the kit lens in the dust indoors and at night, I'll never go on a shoot without something faster than F2 again!
