Corrupted after first use

Purchased to put animated films onto to use on a smart TV. Approximately 15GB of 128GB worth of movies added with no issues. However when I went to put some new films on the device caused laptop to crash. Multiple devices tried with the same fate. Drive was corrupt and did not work.
